We record timestamps of when you log in to the Service. This information is associated with your user account and is used for account security and support purposes.

1.3 Payment Information

Payment processing is handled entirely by our third-party merchant of record (currently LemonSqueezy). We do not directly collect, store, or have access to your credit card numbers, bank account details, or other financial information. 1.4 Information We Do NOT Collect

We want to be clear about what we do not collect:

  • No usage data. We do not track which features you use, how often you use the application, or any details about your interactions with the Service.
  • No keystroke logging. PCMojo intercepts keyboard events solely to provide its remapping and navigation functionality. We do not log, record, transmit, or store keystrokes, typed content, or any user input data.
  • No analytics or telemetry. We do not collect usage analytics, crash reports, or performance telemetry from the application.
  • No device information. We do not collect information about your hardware, operating system version, or device identifiers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the limited information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Account management: To create and maintain your account, authenticate your identity, and manage your subscription.
  • License validation: To verify that your subscription is active when the application starts.
  • Communication: To send you important notices about your account, subscription renewals, policy changes, and to respond to support requests.
  • Security: To detect and prevent unauthorized access to your account using login timestamp records.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. Your information is only shared in the following limited circumstances:

3.1 Merchant of Record

We share your email address with our merchant of record (currently LemonSqueezy) solely for the purpose of processing payments, managing subscriptions, and handling tax compliance. Our merchant of record acts as a data processor on our behalf and is contractually obligated to protect your information.

3.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

4. Data Storage and Security

4.1 Local Data

PCMojo stores configuration data locally on your device, including keyboard calibration profiles, remap settings, and preferences. This data remains entirely on your device and is never transmitted to us or any third party.

4.2 Account Data

Your email address and login timestamps are stored on secure servers. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information (email address and login timestamps) for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription and request account deletion, we will delete your personal information within thirty (30) days, except where we are required by law to retain it for a longer period.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access: You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction: You may request that we correct any inaccurate information.
  • Deletion: You may request that we delete your personal information.
