Effective Date: March 7, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PCMojo software application and related services (collectively, the "Service"), provided by PCMojo ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By purchasing, installing, or using PCMojo, you ("Customer," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Service.
PCMojo is a macOS menu-bar utility delivered as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) product. It replicates Windows-style Alt-key ribbon navigation in Microsoft Office for Mac, provides per-keyboard modifier key remapping, and includes a Windows-style window picker. Access to the Service requires an active, paid subscription as described in Section 3.
You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement to use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
The Service is offered on an annual subscription basis. Current pricing is published on our website. We may offer a free tier with limited functionality; the free tier is provided at our sole discretion and may be modified or discontinued at any time.
All payments are processed through our designated merchant of record (currently LemonSqueezy), which handles billing, tax collection, and compliance on our behalf. By subscribing, you authorize recurring annual charges to your designated payment method. All fees are quoted and charged in U.S. dollars unless otherwise specified.
Subscription fees are exclusive of applicable taxes. Our merchant of record will calculate and collect any applicable sales tax, VAT, GST, or other transaction taxes required by law based on your location.
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. Any price increase will take effect at the start of your next renewal period. We will provide at least thirty (30) days' notice of price changes via the email address associated with your account.
We may offer a free trial period. At the end of the trial, your access to paid features will be suspended unless you purchase a subscription. Trial eligibility is limited to one trial per person or device, and we reserve the right to revoke trial access if we reasonably believe a trial has been claimed more than once.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use PCMojo on macOS devices that you own or control, solely for your personal or internal business purposes, for the duration of your active subscription.
You shall not:
The Service, including all code, design, documentation, trademarks, and content, is and remains the exclusive property of the Company and its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any ownership interest in the Service. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved by the Company.
PCMojo intercepts keyboard events solely to provide its remapping and navigation functionality. The Service does not log, record, transmit, or store keystrokes, key characters, typed content, or any user input data. Diagnostic logging is limited to event types (e.g., key-down, key-up) and never includes the content of keystrokes.
The core functionality of PCMojo operates entirely on your local device. The Service does not transmit personal data, usage telemetry, or analytics to any server, except for license key activation and validation requests processed through our merchant of record. These requests contain only your email address and license key.
PCMojo stores configuration data locally on your device, including keyboard calibration profiles, remap settings, and preferences. This data remains on your device and is not transmitted to us.
Our collection and use of information is further described in our Privacy Policy, available on our website. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
PCMojo requires macOS Accessibility permission to function. This permission is necessary for the Service to intercept keyboard events and interact with application user interfaces (such as the Microsoft Office ribbon). You will be prompted to grant this permission on first launch. The Service does not request or require Screen Recording, Full Disk Access, or any other macOS permissions beyond Accessibility. You may revoke Accessibility permission at any time through macOS System Settings, which will disable the Service's functionality.
PCMojo is designed to work with Microsoft Office for Mac. Microsoft Office is a product of Microsoft Corporation and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Company. Your use of Microsoft Office is governed by Microsoft's own license terms. We do not guarantee compatibility with all versions of Microsoft Office, and changes to Microsoft Office may affect PCMojo's functionality.
Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each annual billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You will be charged the then-current subscription fee upon each renewal.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard provided by our merchant of record. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for.
All subscription fees are non-refundable, except as required by applicable law or as expressly stated in a separate refund policy on our website. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact us at the support email listed on our website.
You may terminate these Terms at any time by canceling your subscription and uninstalling the Service from all devices.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if: (a) you breach any provision of these Terms; (b) your payment method fails and you do not provide a valid alternative within a reasonable period; (c) we are required to do so by law; or (d) we discontinue the Service entirely.
Upon termination, your license to use the Service is immediately revoked. Sections 6, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 17 shall survive termination.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE COMPANY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
PCMojo interacts with macOS system-level keyboard event APIs and third-party application interfaces that may change without notice. We do not guarantee continuous compatibility with any particular version of macOS or Microsoft Office.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE COMPANY, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
THE COMPANY'S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU ACTUALLY PAID TO THE COMPANY IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware. You consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and, where practicable, by sending notice to the email address associated with your account at least thirty (30) days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service and cancel your subscription.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
The failure of the Company to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights hereunder without the prior written consent of the Company. The Company may assign these Terms without restriction.
The Company shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemic, government action, or disruptions to the internet or telecommunications infrastructure.
All notices from the Company to you may be provided via email to the address associated with your account or by posting on our website. You may contact us at the support email listed on our website.
